The steam cod is very good, fresh fish, just rightly cooked and just the right sauce flavour. The prawn and pork Congee, salted cold chicken are done well. Vegetable plenty of wok hei. Roast duck is okay based on Malaysian standard. The Congee must be ordered half hour in advance.

We ordered the braised duck and the olive green beans. I thought the duck was tough though tasty but the green beans were too unique a taste for my liking. Did not enjoy. Highly recommend the Chao zhou noodles - so delicious and springy with chilli!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, everything felt just right, clean, cozy, and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor, freshly prepared, and served hot. The portions were generous, and the menu had a great variety of classic and authentic Chinese dishes to choose from. You can really tell that quality ingredients and attention to detail go into every plate. What made the visit even better was the amazing service. The staff were kind, attentive, and quick, but the highlight was the owner. They were incredibly friendly and genuinely cared about our experience. It's always a nice touch when the owner personally checks in on guests, it shows true hospitality and pride in their restaurant. The prices were very fair considering the quality of the food and service. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Very traditional taste! Large portion! And the pan fried dumpling was amazing! Not too greasy and light! Highly recommend!

Rustic pan-Chinese food suitable for unsophisticated palates. There is a dish for everyone to enjoy. The food is affordable but services are as expected in these types of establishments.

Big portions, authentic Cantonese flavors. Definitely worth a trip, this was a bit of a surprising lunch find for me in Christchurch. Staff were also friendly. Highly recommended you pick Cantonese dishes, even if they serve some other kinds of food.

As authentic as it gets. Coming from new York, I've had Mt fair share of Cantonese food. We're finishing up a trip here in NZ, and got some last minute takeaway at 830pm. The restaurant quickly whipped up our order - beef Hor fun and bbq pork/crispy pork combo over rice. It was amazing! Left us with smiles. What a place, possibly worth driving a few hours for if not a domestic flight...
